Lets get that clear.
I love anything on the snow! But I had hardly been skiing anywhere but wanaka!
So when my uncle offered to take me to a private ski field I jumped at the opportunity.
And didn't regret it until we got to the car park. Err it was one of the worst skiing experience I have ever had that day! The reason for this is nutcrackers, a metal rope that goes up a mountain on pullys and you clip on with a metal tool that looks like a nutcracker (note the name). No matter how easy this sounds, it's not! After a couple of embarrassing falls I skied with one ski to the hut!
And let's just say the day didn't get much better that day!
